What is Urgent or Walk-In Care?

Urgent care, also referred to as Accident and Medical (A&E), Walk-In Care or Acute Walk-In Clinic, is for people who experience sudden illness, accidents, or injuries that do not appear to be life threatening but can’t wait for a booked appointment.

Do I need to book for Urgent Care?

You don’t need to make an appointment for urgent care. Simply walk in and chat with our friendly team about the symptoms you’re experiencing. There may be a wait time depending on the number of people visiting simultaneously. Patients with serious symptoms receive priority care and you may not be seen in the order in which you have arrived. If you have any concerns, or your symptoms worsen while you wait, please let our team know.

For emergencies, such as life-threatening situations, always dial 111 for assistance.
